Frugal for Life was started on December 19, 2004 by me, Dawn. You can find out more about myself in a few posts I have written, but I originally started this site to keep track of all the good tips and websites I came across as I led a ‘life on less’.

To summarize I had to live a frugal life when I got out on my own and didn’t do a well enough job controlling my expenses, that eventually led to filing bankruptcy because it got out of control. It was even bad enough that I was borrowing money from payday loans and pawning off goods; so I understand the hole and depression that can come from those types of loans and debt.
