Festival of Frugality Week 108: Quotable Edition
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS blog feed. Also check out more information on how FFL got started. Thanks for visiting!
This message will go away after 3 visits.
This is my Tenth hosting of FoF among many that I have hosted. I enjoy this one the most because I get to read all the posts at my leisure. This job isn’t easy, but it is fun.. I would like to thank Cash/Money/Life for hosting last week and On Financial Success for taking over next week.
Some hosts will have an list of favorite ones that they will separate from the pack. I don’t do that. If I list it, then it is a ‘favorite’ and I think it is related to frugality. So, if you are a blogger and would like to participate - check out the rules and enter here
I like to have some sort of organization to these as a block of links is just utterly boring to go through. This week everyone is quotable (I will even take you out context if it serves my twisted little purpose) that way you should live on in infamy based on that quote… hehe!

January 15th, 2008 at 8:03 amLOL - thanks for the quote: priceless
I like that you didn’t pick favorites. I usually don’t think of editor’s picks as being automatically the best posts of a carnival or festival but rather those that the organizer agrees with the most or which have an agreeable style. So I think editor’s picks are helpful for the regular readers of the carnival’s editor but not necessarily as an objective measure.

January 16th, 2008 at 8:22 pmThanks for hosting! It took me a while to realize the festival was up, as the trackback went into Akismet spam, for some reason, and for yet another reason, Google Reader hasn’t gotten any new articles from Frugal for Life since December 12th.
Is anyone else having these problems?
Dawn’s Note: Lise, I am working with feedburner on the reader problems with Yahoo and google. Hope to have fixed today or tomorrow.

January 18th, 2008 at 10:46 amThanks for selecting my submission…I come back often to see how many clicks I’m getting from you. Since I just started my blog, ten clicks from people I don’t know seems like a spike in traffic!!
