I was standing in line at Target recently and while waiting for the lady ahead of me to pay for the 10 packs of bottled water, my eyes dropped down to the right side, to the things hanging in the “impulse buying” area.
There was a nicely packaged batch of papers that had “To Do” at the top and simple decorations down the side. I leaned down and saw it had 50 sheets for 1.99. What? 1.99 for 50 sheets of paper! I don’t know what disturbed me more, selling a ‘to do’ list or pricing it at 1.99 for 50 sheets.
A ‘to do’ list isn’t that hard to make. Grab a piece of paper about 4×6 or smaller and write “TO DO” at the top. If you want decorations, use a highlighter or marker to fancy it up. If you not very artistic, try the “to do” list from the Frugal-Families site. Now you have a to do list and 1.99 still in your pocket.
You don’t even need to buy paper, use the envelopes from the junk mail you receive or the back side of printed paper- Just don’t buy one, PLEASE!
