Under the heading, “I wish I had thought of that”, corner bookmarks via your junkmail and Junkmail Gems, and Gretchen has a blog to boot.

I read flipped through the book, Hungry Planet: What the World Eats, now some has posted a photoset of 15 pictures from the book, along with the average price - even in the US there is a price difference.

After I saw this picture of a guy using his bike to it’s fullest extent, I now see that there is no limit to what you can carry on a motorbike. My two favorites are the eggs and the long steel poles.

Liz Pullman helped me take a step back from the craziness of money and the economy, what is in my control and what is not.

A fridge without electricity - I have heard of them, but it is nice to see it in action; it doesn’t appear to get really cold but if your temperature is really high, this would be cold enough.
